As an Enrolled Agent (EA), Kyla works as a Tax Strategist to help her clients find and fix the mistakes and overlooked opportunities that result in overpaid taxes. She understands the frustrations business owners face when dealing with the complexity of taxes. Her philosophy is that although our United States tax laws are complex, the opportunities hidden in those laws aren't reserved for the mega-billion-dollar conglomerates, but apply to all taxpayers equally. Small and mid-sized business owners only need the right data to make the right decisions so they can focus on their unique ability. She is passionate about her work and thrives on helping clients find their financial freedom through tax planning. Kyla approaches tax planning for her clients not with the question they frequently ask of, "Can I deduct this?" but rather with a strategic view of "How can we deduct this?”
Kyla is a member of The National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), the Tax Master Network and is a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Kyla has served her community by being the past co-chair for the Glenbrook South Instrumental League Board, the past co-chair for Yes D34, and past cohort member of Glenview Leaders an organization through the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. She is currently a member of the Henking/Hoffman PTA and room mom for her youngest child.
When Kyla is not focusing on her clients, she enjoys spending time outdoors, running, swimming or walking the dogs. She is the proud mother of three children, Taylor, Morgan and Evelyn.
